The Power of Repetition

What is repetition? How many times repeated to yourself some things in order to remember? How many times you listened a song on repetition? Even if you try hard to forget it, it is literally impossible, because it”s written on a back of your mind and will stay forever.

What google says on a first page about the repetition:

Definition of Repetition. Repetition is a literary device that repeats the same words or phrases a few times to make an idea clearer and more memorable. … As a rhetorical device, it could be a word, a phrase, or a full sentence, or a poetical line repeated to emphasize its significance in the entire text.

I will never forget when I had to remember a whole English alphabet in a song that we had to sing. I felt so stupid, because I couldn”t understand why are some people remembering quickly than me. To this day, I still remember how this English alphabet song goes. It is about being kind to yourself. Give yourself time to learn it, and know that as faster you can learn, faster you can forget about it, and go to play again. haha Have you had some difficulties in the past about remembering something for school? I am sure you had it.

How many of you are building your own businesses like I do? How many of you don”t know what are you doing and you ask yourself constantly is this the right thing you do? Will that led me to  the business I really want to run? Me all the time! It is about the repetition, about putting constantly time and effort in it. If you need to go through article and a video that will give you more clarity, do it. It is about the repetition! How bad do you want it and master it?

Repetition is a mother of skill.

It is same with our habits, and every day things that we do. How many times you got up from bed and you went to brush your teeth? Countless! Now, these days, you can do that with closed eyes. You know exactly what is the distance between bed and the door, where your toothbrush is placed, and how to go back to your room.

If you wanna learn new skills, you need to make a good relationship with a repetition, and believe it is possible for you. Only masters at something know how important this is. It is being better every day at your craft. How bad do you want it? Never give up!

Most people say affirmations doesn”t work. That is a bunch of crap! Of course they do! Affirmations are positive or negative statements in another words. Statements, negative or positive, that you say to yourself on a daily basis become your truth. Which ones are you going to repeat? You can be very broke but fully happy. It is about what you saying to yourself on a daily basis being broke. It is what you do on repeat and say to yourself.

Repetition is a form of change.

What skills would you like to have and develop? I Thought about the book How To Win Friends and Influence People today and I wanted to remind myself how important it is to become a great communicator, make people like and trust you. These are the things that we often forget about how to be a great communicator. Not just this, but everything.

I”ll never forget a day when I after a while sit on a bike and wanted to go someplace. It was terrible. I didn”t know what am I doing. The traffic was very bad and I got so angry and frustrated. I didn”t know how to behave on a road, and that is fine. Today, I can remain calm in all traffic situations, because I was repeatedly doing same things all over again, every time, and it became habit.

All the great achievers and athletes will tell you that it”s all about repetition. The question is: “How bad do you want it?” You need to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to learn, to develop. Nothing will come to you over night. Even successes over night started years before, but this is what you don”t see, you see only finished product.

A child didn’t learn how to talk and walk in a first week. A child learned to walk and talk through repetition, constant trial and error. He didn’t say: “That is not for me! I am not born to walk and talk like all of you!”

It is about being kind to yourself. Give yourself time and know why are you doing it. Once you accomplish task that once been heavy you should celebrate. You need to give yourself permission to celebrate the accomplished. You need to clap yourself first.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny compared to what lies within us.”  – Ralph Waldo Emerson

The power of repetition is any leader’s best friend. Repeating yourself may seem annoying to you at first, but it’s important to make sure your key messages and actions are given a chance to sink in. … The power of repetition is your friend.

If you wanna master something in your life, take repetition as your best friend. And it is truly your best friend, because it teaches you to be focused, and we all know that being focused on something, that shall grow. It must grow!

Repetition is a key learning aid because it helps transition a skill from the conscious to the subconscious. Through repetition, a skill is practiced and rehearsed over time and gradually becomes easier. … Another important aspect of repetition is the interval at which a skill is repeated.

Reacting vs Responding

Do you know what is the difference between reacting and responding? The difference is huge. That is why these are two different words with a completely different reactions to same situation.

I found on a google the difference. The exact difference. Here is what our dear friend google says about these two:

There is a huge difference between reacting and responding. A reaction is typically quick, without much thought, tense and aggressive. A response is thought out, calm and non-threatening. A reaction typically provokes more reactions – perpetuating a long line of hatefulness with nothing accomplished.

You can really choose how you are going to respond to certain situation. I had a situation today, that somebody will freak out, but not me, not anymore.

My dear dear friend moved abroad. I miss this guy a lot. I could tell him whatever was on my mind and I miss him. Today, I send him over a message  to call me, not even realizing that he is back at home. He came back! I was very surprised. I didn”t know as he didn”t told me. And then he was saying how he is here just for a day, getting ready to go with his sister to town. And we are not having time to meet. He is busy. Me, not expecting anything.

A year ago, I would be disappointed, but not today.

Today, I know that I should respect somebody”s decisions and time. I am not expecting from someone to run after me. I am really good with everything. In fact, I am proud of myself how I responded knowingly that there wasn”t enough time to see each other.

Moreover, he had a time to meet our mutual friend, but not me again.

The difference between me and somebody else is that I don”t take things personally anymore. It is so crucial to know that is not all about us. Ego! Our ego! I know I am the ocean, but also and drop of the ocean. I know he loves me and that is all what matters. Really, what else is important? Nothing!

It is always better to sleep on something. I always say, mornings are much more wiser than evenings. We tend to react fired on, without having much thought about the consequences. We all know that we can hurt somebody saying something.

I remember myself back in a days as a kid. I still hear sometimes how my school mate is teasing me about my hair. Whatever someone told you in a past, I believe you still hear in your head. So, today, think before you react and respond thinking first.

Live the life of no regrets. But first, think before you take action. and more over what is your intention about that you are going to respond. Learn more about the power of Intention. You can find it here: https://wp.me/pa101U-z

The topic about reacting and responding is one of the most powerful ways to take control of your life. You have, we have the power to decide. We have free will to do whatever we want. Of course that something is written in the stone, but on most cases YOU AND ONLY YOU choose and have free will to respond however you want.

I”ve been doing research about this topic about reacting and responding and found on Youtube a woman that perfectly describes the difference with some real life situations. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8jaGzncb7Y

Live the life of no regrets and next time think before you respond.

Self Education

I hope you educating yourself? If you educate yourself you do not have nothing to worry about. What is your interest? Imagine yourself researching whatever interests you, every day for at least an hour, in 5 years you can become an expert in it. Don”t you agree? 5 years from now you can get there, the question is where.

It is a simple thing. Self education is important for success because it helps you to think big like other successful people. It makes you think beyond limitations and this is the biggest reason why people succeed in life. Most people are not comfortable thinking big because they believe it is impossible to achieve.

Look at all great achievers, we all know who they are. Do they have a college degree? Not at all! Bill Gates was passionate about the computers and softwares, he researched it, developed it, and who is he now? Oprah Winfrey? Tony Robbins?

They are all great achievers that helped change millions of lives. How? By self education.

You know that scientists are always coming to some conclusions, discoverings and ideas, they are researching everything. You know that doctor will find out this exact information 5 years later. Why? Because they are not educating themselves. They are not catching out with new discoveries. And this same doctors are helping us get better.

Choose and decide now, at this moment, to study, to study deep, things that you are interested in, and nobody can take that out of you.. You becoming wise, smart. Nobody can beat you up.

Every human being needs oxygen to survive in the world. Education is as important as this because education gives people the knowledge and skills they require. Education is important to people of all ages and it has no limit. Children require education in order for them to learn how to speak and to write.

Self education in your chosen field can get you to the heights that you can not even imagine. To know about something today, that you nailed it, you can turn into business.

Look at the coaches, life and business ones. They first developed themselves, and they now teach others. Internet world is full of coaching sessions, courses and seminars. People are crushing it, and now it becomes multi Billion dollar business. People are spending millions and millions to educate themselves online.

I hope I inspired you to study your chosen field. To study more about the thing that you are passionate about. That, and only that, will bring you success and wealth in life.

That is my opinion only. What is yours? I want you to give us a comment below.

The monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma

This book is such a gem

This book is a huge gem (diamond). I am really fascinated. It”s about the secrets of life and how to keep that balance between personal and professional life. I will surely come to read this book again and again, to buy my own copy, and make sure to underscore the parts that I resonated with, so I can reread it again and remind myself of these secrets and truths again and again when needed. It is really inspiring.

Do you believe success is your destiny? Are you hunger for more: more prestige, more glory and more money? You will never wish you spent more time at the office attaining success and money. You will wish on your deathbed to spent more time with your family and friends in a joyful moment together. I”ve also come to see that success on the outside means nothing unless you also have success within. There is a huge difference between well-being and being well-off.

“Every event has a purpose and every setback its lesson. I have realized that failure, whether of the personal, professional or even spiritual kind, is essential to personal expansion. It brings inner growth and a whole host of psychic rewards. Never regret your past. Rather, embrace it as the teacher that it is. I have learned that self-mastery and the consistent care of one”s mind, body and soul are essential to finding one”s highest self and living the life of one”s dreams. How can you care for others if you cannot even care for yourself? How can you do good if you don’t even feel good? I can’t love you if I cannot love myself.

Appreciate yourself

Take the first step to shifting your paradigm with these awesome life lessons from The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari.

1. Cultivate Your Mind

The Quality Of Your Life Is Determined By The Quality Of Your Thoughts

2. The Purpose Of Life Is A Life Of Purpose

The Power Of Self-Examination

3. Do The Things You Fear The Most

Self-Mastery Is The DNA Of Life Mastery

4. Live With Discipline

Do The Vow Of Silence

5. Respect Your Time

Have A “Deathbed” Mentality

6. Practice Daily Acts Of Kindness

By Elevating The Lives Of Others, Your Life Reaches Its Highest Dimensions

7. Never Sacrifice Happiness For Achievement

Live In The Now With Your Children’s Childhood

The time is now

Investing in yourself is the best investment you will ever make. It will not only improve your life, it will improve the lives of all those around you. It is only when you have mastered the art of loving yourself that you can truly love others. It”s only when you have opened your own heart that you can touch the hearts of others. When you feel centered and alive, you are in a much better position to be a better person.

A Most Extraordinary Garden

Most people live – whether physically, intellectually or morally – in a very restricted circle of their potential being. We all have reservoirs of life to draw upon of which we do not dream.

                                                                                            William James

In a fable, the garden is a symbol for the mind. If you care for your mind, if you nurture it and if you cultivate it just like a fertile, rich garden, it will blossom far beyond your expectations. But if you let the weeds take root, lasting peace of mind and deep inner harmony will always elude you. Yet look at the toxic waste that most people put into the fertile garden of their minds every single day: the worries and anxieties, the fretting about the past, the brooding over the future and those self-created fears that wreak havoc within your inner world.

To live life to the fullest, you must stand guard at the gate of your garden and let only the very best information enter. You truly cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought – not even one. The most joyful, dynamic and contented people of this world are no different from you or me in terms of their makeup. We are all flesh and bones. We all come from the same universal source. However, the ones who do more than just exist, the ones who fan the flames of their human potential and truly savor the magical dance of life do different things than those whose lives are ordinary. Foremost among the things that they do is adopt a positive paradigm about their world and all that in it.

There is no such thing as objective reality or “the real world”. There are no absolutes. The face of your greatest enemy might be the face of my finest friend. An event that appears to be a tragedy to one might reveal the seeds of unlimited opportunity to another. What really separates people who are habitually upbeat and optimistic from those who are consistently miserable is how the circumstances of life are interpreted and processed.

All is well in your world

All success in life, whether material or spiritual, starts with that twelve – pound mass sitting between your shoulders. Or more specifically, with the thoughts that you put into your mind every second of every minute of every day. Your outer world reflects the state of your inner world. By controlling the thoughts that you think and the way you respond to the events of your life, you begin to control your destiny.

There are no mistakes in life, only lessons. There is no such thing as negative experience, only opportunities to grow, learn and advance along the road of self – mastery. From struggle comes strength. Even pain can be a wonderful teacher. To savor the good one you must know the bad!

I suggest that you stop judging events as either positive or negative. Rather, simply experience them, celebrate them and learn from them. Every event offers you lessons. These little lessons fuel your inner and outer growth. Without them, you would be stuck on a plateau. Just think about it in your own life. Most people have grown the most from their most challenging experiences. And if you meet with an outcome you did nor expect and feel a little disappointed, remember that the laws of nature always ensure that when one door closes another opens.

Door to paradise

I hope you will enjoy reading this content as much as I enjoyed reading this book. That is just a few or words of wisdom, there are much much more to learn. I promise you, you will never regret reading this book, if you are open for these teachings of course. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear!

Please, leave me a comment in a section below if you read this far, I would appreciate that. And please, feel free to like and share in you find it valuable.

I gave my best!

Thoughts are things?!

Is it really that way? Do we truly attract what we think about and who we are? I know that like attracts like, but do really thoughts and what we think about shapes our reality?

About the how like attracts like… I’ll never forget that day…I’ve been in one relationship that I didn’t enjoy at all. You might think now: “Why you stayed then?!” I don’t know! I guess I’ve seen just the goods in him, and all the bads I tried to forget, not to focus on. Until one day, I had that aha moment, when I realized that we was perfect match. I didn’t love and appreciate myself, and then he came into my life like a perfect manipulator.

Thoughts are not facts!

Of course I left him straight after the realization, but the question is still here: “Do we really attract who we are and what we think about?”

Please, please, please! If you read this far, let me know what are your thoughts about this in a comment section bellow. ⬇️ Would love to know!

I wish you a great day!

Yours sincerely,

Maja
