How To Be More Self Aware

Why would you want to know who you are? Why would you want to know your talents, strengths and weaknesses? Why is important? Why would you care? Who should care?You should be your own best self! You should know who you are, so you can improve your weaknesses, work more on your talents, try to make the most out of your strengths.

Self-Awareness can make you feel more happy, because you are more aware of your actions, feelings and emotions. Your relationships can improve, you can better perform at work…

If you wanna develop self awareness you need to ask yourself some deep questions? Just ask! But yourself! This is the only way how you can get to know yourself better. Asking yourself questions at all times, on a daily basis.

You can”t get away from yourself by moving from one place to another, is another quote by Ernest Hemingway that I love so much. It teaches us that all is within you. All your flaws and victories. People travel massively. They are being bored in their home country, and that is all right. But if you are not happy in your country, how can you be more happy in another? You can”t get away from yourself by moving from one place to another. You better know who you are!

You need to find yourself again. You need to forgive yourself and praise those victories. You need to know yourself better.

Yoga and meditation is one of the tools that can improve your self-awareness. I like it so much, especially meditation, and yoga of course (I don”t know which is more important to me), because it teaches me to be more self-aware of my thoughts, feelings, emotions, habits, actions, etc. Yoga is one of the self-aware tools to wake up your body, to be more awake in general.

Self awareness doesn”t stop you from making mistakes, it allows you to learn from them. You are not going to beat yourself up by making mistakes, rather, you will learn from them, accept them, and move on, try different approach.

When it comes to making mistakes, you are aware that this is a journey. The ones who are successful now, they made most mistakes, and you should know about that, be aware of it.

Don”t compromise yourself. You”re all what you”ve got said Janis Joplin. Know who you are and you are going to be unstoppable. Do you know the saying: “Know Thyself”? It is knowing your core being. It is knowing why you are doing certain actions. etc.

You cannot move from one point to another (better one) if you are not aware of the situation that you are in now. You need to accept the situation you are in now. You need to look closely at the situation, what led you to here, how you ended up here, and how you are going to move on to next, again (better one).

Journaling is one of the best methods to get to know yourself better. What did they say, what it meant for you, how you felt about that, how did you responded to this. It is really great method to see what is going on underneath the surface for you.

Mindful activities. When you wash your hands. Shower. Feel that water on your body. Rubbing soap in hour hands. It is training you to be more mindful in other situations.

Record yourself. 😀 How bad do you wanna to get to know yourself better? You can record just your voice, or record yourself whole, talking to camera. It is a great exercise to see how the world perceives you. Tonality of your voice and your face expressions are everything. You are going to better perform selling yourself, at a job interviews, you will have better communication in general, your relationships will improve.

Working on your perception you can deliver your message better. People will start taking you seriously. But with a poor posture and low tone of voice will not take you anywhere. Start acting like the most confident person, like the one who has all in his or her hands. That is working on yourself. Working on being more self aware.

How do you spend your free time? What excites you? When have you been last time in awe? What are your hobbies? Passions? How you are going to spend your time after reading this article? Who are you really? In what state of the emotions you are most of the time? Are you in a bad or a good mood most of the time?

What are the things that you don”t like about yourself? What are some of your mistakes that you regret about? Take a notebook and write it down. Things that you don”t like about yourself.

  5. Practice meditation and other mindfulness habits. …

  8. Ask for feedback at work.

This is such a beautiful article by a person who beautifully describes self-awareness, what it is, how to achieve it, and it tells you that is all up to you, the mindset that you wake up with in the morning upon laying at night in the bed. So good! Read it!

Losing my mind

Losing my mind helped me so much. I”ve been so caught up in my mind. I was thinking destructive thoughts, but now I loosed my mind, and I feel much much better.

Our minds are so powerful. You are not even realizing it, but you think thousands of thoughts all day long. Some of the thoughts you can hear, you are aware of them, while on other you cannot even pay attention, because they are very quiet, and I think that these are beliefs that are very old, thoughts that you was thinking for a long time, and it is challenging to realize them and try to destroy, to re frame them.

Look at the world a little bit. Everybody is looking down, scrolling their phones, thinking who knows what. They let all the media influence them. They don”t know anymore how to raise their head and look at the sky. They don”t know how their neighborhood looks like anymore. They are in their head most of the time. We need to learn loose our minds and head, and get into the heart. We need to think with the heart.

For me, everything became better when I decided to loose my mind. You need to open yourself up to a new and crazy things, you need to take a risks, you need to know that you have a limited time on this planet earth and live to it”s fullest.

I”ve been doing a research about loosing mind and it is not in a positive way. I don”t know what are they thinking about that, but here I am talking about the thoughts that we ran over and over again in our heads. We need to think broadly. We need to be aware that we are much much more than we think we are. I personally talk with myself and it feels wonderful. You need to go out of your head and ask yourself is it really truth, the thoughts that you think of.

To lose your mind doesn”t necessarily mean a bad thing. It is realizing of thinking destructive thoughts and beliefs about yourself and re framing them. Lose your mind and get into the heart. You need to think with your heart. What are your hearts desires. Lose your mind and don”t believe everything that you heard of, either from yourself or from others. Know what is your truth, and never stop questioning everything.

Everybody seems normal. They behave normal, they are living “normal” life but where will that get them? They are afraid to do something new, to stretch themselves, to take a risks. How do these people live? Are they really happy? Do they live their highest potential? I don”t think so!

If you wanna live extraordinary life, you need to lose your mind and get into the heart. Heart knows all your hearts desires, listen to heart, lose your mind and get into the heart once and for all.

I hope I inspired you, for real. I think, to lose your mind and go crazy a little bit, is not a bad thing. Majority of the people are normal, and look how they live their life.

Take Full Responsibility For Your Life

Hi ya all! Hope you are fine?! Are you? Know that you are responsible for what is going on in your life, or how do you feel about yourself now and life.

What is taking full responsibility about yourself, your life, how you feel, and what you do? It is being aware that you choose to feel a bad about yourself. You created this thought about not enough, you choose to feel bad about yourself. Nobody implemented that thought or feeling into your mind. You are doing that yourself. Take full responsibility for your own feelings and stop thinking thoughts that bring you down.

There is always a choice. Choose a good one.

I”ll never forget the day when I was at the work, talking with my colleague about the life, and all of the sudden I realized that it is all my “fault”.

I choose to come to other country. I choose to date that guy. I choose to break up with him. I choose to quit my job. I choose to live by myself. I choose to hang around with this friend. I choose to say stop to another friendship. I choose to build my online business. I choose to be alone untill I find someone worth my attention. I choose to dressed up nicely today, put some makeup, take a picture of myself, and post it online. I choose to make myself a healthy dinner today. Etc., etc…

I believe there are some things that you don”t like about yourself and your life, and I”m asking you now, are you going to do something about it, or you will continue to bragg around of how miserable you are.

If you don”t like something about yourself and your life, just change it. First of all, do some research: “How to get better at this?”, “How to make this thing work?”, “What can I do If this thing occurs?”

ResponsibilityBeing responsible means being dependable, keeping promises and honoring our commitments. It is accepting the consequences for what we say and do. It also means developing our potential. People who are responsible don’t make excuses for their actions or blame others when things go wrong.

Responsible person is a dependable, responsible person doesn”t depend on someone or something. Responsible person accepts the consequences for what he say or do.

Of course it is easier to blame others. It is easier to blame the weather and not to go out. It is easier to blame some higher powers for not feeling well and not attending that seminar. It is easier to blame your parents for what life are you living now. It is easier to blame company that you are working for getting not enough money. It is easier to blame others, but does that really serve us.

Take the things in your own hands and live this life for how would you like to live, but first of all, do some research. OK, I need to change my financial situation, how do I do that? My hair is thinning, how to make it stronger? You get the point.

Also, beating yourself up because of you”ve done something that you shouldn”t is not a good thing. You did that because at that time that felt right for you, and that is ok. Imagine yourself fighting yourself. You cannot do that. Just do what feels right for you, and learn something from that experience. We are here to grow, to learn. Do something different today and watch how all grows.

Thoughts are things?!

 

Is it really that way? Do we truly attract what we think about and who we are? I know that like attracts like, but do really thoughts and what we think about shapes our reality?

About the how like attracts like… I’ll never forget that day…I’ve been in one relationship that I didn’t enjoy at all. You might think now: “Why you stayed then?!” I don’t know! I guess I’ve seen just the goods in him, and all the bads I tried to forget, not to focus on. Until one day, I had that aha moment, when I realized that we was perfect match. I didn’t love and appreciate myself, and then he came into my life like a perfect manipulator.

 

Thoughts are not facts!

 

Of course I left him straight after the realization, but the question is still here: “Do we really attract who we are and what we think about?”
