Focus is huge. How many times you were completely focused on something? You were so interested in the listening to conversation, for example, that you couldn”t hear somebody outside calling you?

I know my sister was often numb, if I can say this way. We were calling her for a minutes, but she always had that look, like she is busy in thinking something else, contemplating, she had always had that imaginary look.

In this video below, I talk about all the things that I could remember about being focused. I really hope you will like it, and that is going to be of great value to you.

I will never forget a Jim Rohn saying in one of the videos on Youtube. When he was with his kids, he was thinking office. Being in the office, he thought of being with his kids instead.

Do you see how this habit is broken, not good? You are going to be always in lack. You will never actually experience all that you are working on, or experience in the full.

Book atomic habits is huge. We are sum of the habits that we were doing for the years, but that can be changed. What would you like to change in your every day life? Tell us honestly!

Many people lack in direction, that is why they never reach their goal, or most importantly, they are never really focused. Confusion and indecisiveness is a problem in them. They often only wonder, never taking any massive action.

I don”t know have you heard about the Tony Robbins. Most probably you did, reading this Personal Development blog. He promotes a massive action, he is a massive action freak. We need to take massive action towards the things that we want.

Where your focus goes energy flows.

I don’t know about you, but I often times think in term, how there is an Africa out there, people living in poverty, even though I cannot see it with my naked eye.

It is not in my focus, but there also in another country is my mom and dad, now sitting on a terrace and enjoying their coffee. Isn”t that amazing?! Things and people are happening anyway, despite of we see them or not.

Your focus and attention now determines how you are going to live in the future.

2 people walking along are going to influence one another. The only question is, which one of them is going to be more dominant.

If you are one who is more dominant, your walking partner will have all his or her attention on you, and what you have to say, their all focus will be on you.

You be that dominant person at put all your attention on the good that you do.

People, circumstances, and life in general shaped us for who we are now.

What or who you wanna become in the future? Decide today, and put all your focus on that. Study it, be in it, learn it, try it, and you shall become. It is the law!

Focus on the good within people, and they will feel that. I had so many people challenges. Working with very fat people, slumpy people, stupid people, but instead, I chose to focus on the good in them. And guess what, we had amazing relationship all along. We were amazing teams!

You can see also the power of focus by focusing only on the red color around you.

Do this exercise now: Look around yourself and look for the red, only look for the red color. How many objects that you see are red?

Now tell me what are the yellow that you saw? The chance is, that you didn’t saw any yellow. Why? Because you were looking only for red. And you get what you focus on.

Take care of your body

You must sleep 7 to 9 hours a day to be able to be fully focused on what you do. Your mind has to be sharp, and you cannot do that, if you didn’t have enough sleep. It is that simple!

Go to bed at the same time each evening. For example, I go to bed every night at 9 pm. I first read 30 minutes, and then I am ready to sleep. If I cannot fall asleep in 15 minutes time, I would take a book again, and read for another 30 minutes. 15 minutes rest again, and trying to fall asleep again, and so on.

It works for me. I hope it will work for you too.

The only goal is to be well restful. You can also do the thing like “power nap” in the afternoon. I do that as well. But I meditate. And it is like a reset, it’s like you are starting fresh.

One more thing that you can do, is putting your phone behind the laptop screen while you working. It does miracles to me. You don”t have a temptation to check the notifications, but to be fully focused on what you do.

Out of your sight, out of your mind.

You only check your phone if you hear actual notification. Even more, you can turn off all your sounds, and not check your phone at all until the work is done.

Focus can bring you so far. What do you want? What do you really, really want?

Focus is a skill that can be learned overtime. You only need to put the time and effort in it. Work on it every day.

I like to focus myself on what I do lately so often. For example, if I sat down 2 hours for writing, I am not going to go to check my hair 😀 (I know :D), or I am not going to respond to that received message if it”s not important.

See Yourself Thriving

Whether you are going through some stuff today, or you will go in the future, you must see yourself thriving. Why? Because if you don”t, you might give up. You might give up, if you cannot see yourself thriving. You must see something bigger than you. We are all seeing stuff on a daily basis, imagining them, and if you cannot see yourself thriving, you will see the opposite. The things that we all don”t want to see and experience.

We are imagining things every day, every single moment. Let”s say you decided to work on some project, that you think it will change for where this humanity is going, and you have some everyday obstacles, making you doubt the thing that you are working on. How you will go through that challenges? Will you imagine seeing yourself going through that challenges, or will you imagine yourself giving up? There is no other way! Seeing yourself thriving, or watching yourself dying. Not figuratively dying, of course.

Why we, as a humans, don”t imagine ourselves being happy, and what it means for us to be happy? Why most of us imagine things that we don”t want to happen, and neglect those that we truly desire? Imagining us being happy?

I watched a video on You Tube about the woman that was basically saying how she was going through some stuff, and she was imagining herself thriving. Imagining yourself thriving is imagining yourself surviving. And we all want to do that. Thriving, rather than surviving.

I just finished reading an article about the imagination, what is possible, and about the working towards your dreams, and I loved it so much, please open up THIS link and be inspired too.

We all have free will. I believe that something is written in the starts, but in general, we all have a free will. Free will to imagine the most of our lives, or free will to imagine the least of our lives. The question is, what are you going to do about that? Will you imagine positives, or the negatives?

And truly, there is something magical about the imagination. In our imagination we can create miracles, but imagining yourself in the wanted situation, you are shifting yourself to different reality, and you start to live there.

Vision boards are one of the methods if I can say it this way, to help you visualize and give you focus on what you want, instead of what you don”t want. There are countless of the success stories on vision boards and people that achieved amazing results, they started to live the lives on their vision boards.

Simply, whenever you see a picture that you like, and you want to have that thing, or you want to live that kind of lifestyle, cut the picture, or download it and print it, then stick to your vision board. I used canvas board that I bought in dollar store, and it works perfectly. Here is my vision board:

We all imagine things on a daily basis. Why would we want to imagine the things that we don”t want, and then miss on the opportunity to imagine what we really, really want? Why are we wired to think negatively instead of positively? Why do we swear on our lives situations, instead of thinking: “There is something good going to come out of this?” Why are we wired to be negative beings? This is going to be a mystery of mine forever. What do you think about that? Tell us in a comments below.

Have an end goal in mind

Let”s say that I want to build a business around personal development, and I am committed to it. I see myself all throughout my life, learning, growing, and trying to be a better person. What will that require me to do? It will require to read whenever I can. It will require to connect with like minded people, and share ideas about that. It will require me to do whatever it takes to be on that track whenever I can.

I would also have to continue to have that website, write a posts, not just for you, but for myself too, because it will keep that ball rolling. I am building momentum by that. 

I often times imagine myself surrounded by the beautiful people that are truly living their potential, and I imagine myself how I have got there. I took actions that everybody were afraid of taking. I took some financial risks. I sacrificed my time. I sacrificed going out, buying alcohol, but instead, I stayed home in my bed, and I read. I sacrificed all the things that “normal” people do to entertain themselves, but instead, I did some things that lesser people do, and I took road less traveled. I imagined myself in all of that. That is seeing yourself thriving.

We all go through some hard times. We all go through some storms and bad weathers, we feel lonely, not understood, in lack. But, what if we live our lives now, and see the grandiose in the our lives now? Would you feel better? Of course you do! I feel better too, to just be O.K. where am I now.

Raise Your Standards

What does it mean to raise your standards, and how do we do that?

You are living by your standards right now. You. are. living. your. standards. right. now. Hear me what I mean by that!

If you are single, that might be because your standard is to not be hurt again. Some people are in relationships, but they are not happy, that means their standard is to only be in a relationship, no matter who that person is. And I think that is really dangerous. I hope you get the point?!

Raise Your Standard

So how do we raise our standards in both situations? Well, in the first scenario, you can do something like, go for that relationship anyway, if you have a chance, but try not to be hurt again, because hey, you wanna give him/or her a chance. Right?! Give love anyway, be support, but not expecting anything in return, because you wanna be a partner of example. Hope you get it?!

The second scenario can be something like; continue to have someone in your life, but try to make it meaningful, try to learn from each other, have fun, support their partner in any endeavor, whether you understand their actions or not.

So what happens when we raise our standards?

Everything in our lives starts to be better. Our relationships, our health, our work, our confidence, the way how we see ourselves and the world, how we interact with people, our mood. We start to be more happy, joyous, feeling content, we have better connections with the God, etc.

To raise our standards in all areas of our lives, we need to truly want that. We need to want that next level life. And do whatever it takes to level up.

What are some examples of the standards?

It is like a rule, some set of behaviours that people need to follow through. Similar like, you can”t go to church naked shoulders and mini skirt. Your skirt has to be to your knees, and you will have to have a sleeves, not the top. Also, Dubai city. There are people not kissing each other on the streets or holding their hands, people only do those things in the comfort of their home, not in the public.

I think Tony Robbins is the first guy that I heard from about how and why we should raise our standards. He is very passionate about this topic, and he is the first guy that is promoting raising standards. Enjoy learning how to raise your standard above in the video.

I love when Tony talks about raising his standard and moving to a big house, leaving his small apartment. Story goes like this; a friend of his offered the house to Tony, and Tony said yes immediately. It was weird at the beginning, to move from very small apartment to a big house. He lived all of a sudden in a very spacious environment, and of course, he felt like it is the right thing to do.

Of course he felt fear of how to pay for it, but once he got a taste of it, he didn”t want to return back. Nobody would like to. Once you get the taste of something that you like, you never want to go back .

And so, I am asking you question right now? If you raise your standard right now, in what area of your life would you first do that, and how would that change your life? I am sure, for 100% better! Can you do that right now? Ask yourself: “What has to change in my life first, in order to live more happy and fulfilled life?” And do that!

Create hunger for more, create magical life on your own terms, and set higher standards. Higher standards can be achieved by you saying to yourself that you MUST work on your career, you saying you that you MUST find relationship of your dreams, MUST be more healthy and energetic, MUST be all the things that people want, even though they only wish for that right now.

The difference between you and them is that you MUST take your life to the next level, and they will only continue to wish for. Guess who is going to achieve goals? You or them? Of course, you! Because you MUST, and they will stay forever with the “should”, but never follow through.

Any time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards. When people ask me what really changed my life eight years ago, I tell them that absolutely the most important thin was changing what I demanded of myself. I wrote down all the things I would no longer accept in my life, all the things I would no longer tolerate, and all the things that I aspired to becoming.

Life is very simple you guys. Just write down things that you really want. Write down how you want to be treated by people. How your friends should treat you. Who are your friends really. What is the place that you really want to live. How much money you must have on your bank account. Who do you must work for. What your job really must be.
You see?! There is so much more. These are only couple of things that you need to consider. And truly, when you say enough is enough, only then changes are happening. And you want that next level life, right? Everybody does, everybody. But you and me are not everybody, you and me are action takers, right? And we are going to make our reams come true, and live that extraordinary life.

The Power of Repetition

What is repetition? How many times repeated to yourself some things in order to remember? How many times you listened a song on repetition? Even if you try hard to forget it, it is literally impossible, because it”s written on a back of your mind and will stay forever.

What google says on a first page about the repetition:

Definition of Repetition. Repetition is a literary device that repeats the same words or phrases a few times to make an idea clearer and more memorable. … As a rhetorical device, it could be a word, a phrase, or a full sentence, or a poetical line repeated to emphasize its significance in the entire text.

I will never forget when I had to remember a whole English alphabet in a song that we had to sing. I felt so stupid, because I couldn”t understand why are some people remembering quickly than me. To this day, I still remember how this English alphabet song goes. It is about being kind to yourself. Give yourself time to learn it, and know that as faster you can learn, faster you can forget about it, and go to play again. haha Have you had some difficulties in the past about remembering something for school? I am sure you had it.

How many of you are building your own businesses like I do? How many of you don”t know what are you doing and you ask yourself constantly is this the right thing you do? Will that led me to  the business I really want to run? Me all the time! It is about the repetition, about putting constantly time and effort in it. If you need to go through article and a video that will give you more clarity, do it. It is about the repetition! How bad do you want it and master it?

Repetition is a mother of skill.

It is same with our habits, and every day things that we do. How many times you got up from bed and you went to brush your teeth? Countless! Now, these days, you can do that with closed eyes. You know exactly what is the distance between bed and the door, where your toothbrush is placed, and how to go back to your room.

If you wanna learn new skills, you need to make a good relationship with a repetition, and believe it is possible for you. Only masters at something know how important this is. It is being better every day at your craft. How bad do you want it? Never give up!

Most people say affirmations doesn”t work. That is a bunch of crap! Of course they do! Affirmations are positive or negative statements in another words. Statements, negative or positive, that you say to yourself on a daily basis become your truth. Which ones are you going to repeat? You can be very broke but fully happy. It is about what you saying to yourself on a daily basis being broke. It is what you do on repeat and say to yourself.

Repetition is a form of change.

What skills would you like to have and develop? I Thought about the book How To Win Friends and Influence People today and I wanted to remind myself how important it is to become a great communicator, make people like and trust you. These are the things that we often forget about how to be a great communicator. Not just this, but everything.

I”ll never forget a day when I after a while sit on a bike and wanted to go someplace. It was terrible. I didn”t know what am I doing. The traffic was very bad and I got so angry and frustrated. I didn”t know how to behave on a road, and that is fine. Today, I can remain calm in all traffic situations, because I was repeatedly doing same things all over again, every time, and it became habit.

All the great achievers and athletes will tell you that it”s all about repetition. The question is: “How bad do you want it?” You need to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to learn, to develop. Nothing will come to you over night. Even successes over night started years before, but this is what you don”t see, you see only finished product.

A child didn’t learn how to talk and walk in a first week. A child learned to walk and talk through repetition, constant trial and error. He didn’t say: “That is not for me! I am not born to walk and talk like all of you!”

It is about being kind to yourself. Give yourself time and know why are you doing it. Once you accomplish task that once been heavy you should celebrate. You need to give yourself permission to celebrate the accomplished. You need to clap yourself first.

How To Develop Myself In Life

Ask yourself how you developed until now? What did you do? Where did you go? You can develop yourself even more, just continue to do these things even more, but don”t forget to implement some new as well. Constantly try to find a way how to be, do and have better. By having better, I don”t necessarily mean having more stuff, but having better skills, having that something that can influence people for the better.

To try to develop myself in every and each area is my obsession. That keeps me happy, content and excited about the future. Nothing seems more important to me lately but trying to be better, day by day. Stagnant water seem to be more smelly and then there algae grows. Water that runs is clear, beautiful to watch, and it”s sound is amazing, it calms you down.

Imagine a world where people try to be better. They wanna make this planet better place to live, make it more comfortable. How that could be? There are two kinds of people; the ones that ask themselves how to do the least, and get paid, and then, there are the ones who try to give the most out of themselves and then naturally, they are expecting in return even more. Please, be that second one, and give value wherever and whatever you do. In this society now, you just need to give and do more than expected, people will recognize that, and then, you will be rewarded.

People around you would love to spend some more time with you, because you are trustworthy and confident. People love to spend time with their confident peers. Now you might be asking what that has to do with developing yourself; Well, everything! Always trying to be better, your confidence will skyrocket, naturally, your trustworthiness in people will rise, and you will have even more trust in life, future, yourself and other people, and we all want that, right?

There are the countless ways how individual can develop him or herself. Watch how and what you talk. What are you talking about on a daily basis? Do you really love to talk about this? What would you talk about instead? Find a peers that you share same interest with. Just do the research about the things, area, expertise or hobby that you like. Connect with people online. I know that people are very careful about reaching someone online, but there are the real people there, just like you and me. They crave to be messaged, contacted and asked how are they doing. Make those connections now!

What helps me, is that I constantly listen something on Youtube. I always type in how to do this, how to do that, and helps me build momentum. I learned so much!

Meditation, meditation is incredible. We need to be able to calm ourselves, calm our minds, and stop rushing constantly. Meditation changed me from the core. I changed completely, inside first, then outside. You come to realization about yourself, your flaws and your strengths.

What would you like to accomplish in life? How would you like to be remembered? And do that things. Do the things that you wanna be remembered for.

We all wanna feel better. Feeling better doesn’t necessarily mean having more stuff. You can feel good and happy being broke. So, in order to develop yourself and naturally, your life, you will want to do the things that makes you feel happy. Just ask yourself on a daily basis, what would now make me happy, and go and do it.

Be aware of your being completely and utterly. Make yourself comfortable. Listen to your body needs, know your values. What do you value the most? What are your preferences? Do whatever it takes to make yourself comfortable. Listen your body messages. Not just your body, but messages your higher you or your better version of you is sending you. Do you feel stressful? Do you need some new challenges in life? Are you bored in your everyday life? If you are, change that? You cannot expect different results doing same things all over again. Being aware of yourself today can put you in a state of real power.

Update you life! Do you know those messages on your phone about updating your software? If you ignore this messages your phone will operate after a while very slow. That is exactly why you need to update your own life as well. Really look at all areas of your life, and discover the ones that you are least happy about. Work on them, improve them, but before of that, do the research how to do that. Nothing will improve if you don’t improve at first.

What are the things that you should do? What are the things that you should do in life? Why you think for example that you and everyone else should work on their physical body and exercise, but abandon wealth and finances is the right thing to do? Every and each area of your life is equally important. Work on those! In order to live happy and fulfilled life you should work on every area of your life. You should study everything, and want to improve every area, not just your body, finances, but everything, because everything matters.

Words don”t teach, only experience. Immerse yourself in experiences, and show up. Do whatever it takes to develop yourself, your skills and abilities. Challenge yourself on a daily basis. What matters more?!

I really hope I helped you realize how you should want develop yourself. Nobody is going to do that, but you. Naturally, you will end and stop negativity, sorrow and bitterness. You will become obsessed and want more. You will soon realize how you are limitless, how you can truly be, do and have everything your heart desire.
