How beliefs affect behaviour

What you believe you can achieve you will. If you are not believing that you can achieve something, you won’t. It is that simple!

For example: you don’t believe you can find a partner of your dreams, and even, somebody like him or her, doesn’t even exist. You are not going to go to search for him or her anyway. What you believe you can, you will, if you don’t believe something you can, you won’t.

Example 2

Let’s say you wanted to be an entrepreneur for years, but somehow it happened that you always stayed working for somebody else. Why? Because you didn’t know how. You didn’t believe you can!

After a years of struggling for somebody else, you finally got courage to quit the jobs for good, and become full time entrepreneur. Why? Because you finally started to believe in yourself.

You can also build belief. Which belief you wan’t to build? Make a list of the beliefs you want to build and start working on them.

Example 3

Your mother is working in retail for years, and her boss doesn’t respect her. Her big passion is flowers and she want’s to quit her job and start flower business. One day she finally said goodbye to her boss, and she is jumping into unknown about growing flowers.

She is struggling for years to grow that business, but something always push her to not to stop, her belief that she can. This is the power of belief in herself, and ability to put this business on the healthy foot. And so she did.

She believed she could so she did.
She believed she could so she did.

What causes us to make decision in life?

We make decisions according to our ability to follow through, and beliefs that we can, passion for whatever that we want to accomplish in life.

Decisions must be made in life, because if you don’t, you are going to be tapping at the same place for years, feeling miserable, and nobody want’s that.

To make decisions in life, you need to first know what you want. Make a list of the things you really want, the life that you want to live, how do you want to feel, and so on.

Schedule some time for that. For example, set an alarm clock for an hour, prepare notebook and a pen, or piece of paper, and start to write. Really focus on the things you want to accomplish, and write them down immediately.

Do you need to believe in all your dreams?

No, not necessarily. Nobody believed in all that they started 100% and that is O.K. Your belief in the thing that you do is going to grow exponentially, it will grow over time. The more you are going to work on your project, the more you are going to develop belief in yourself that you actually can.

And belief will affect behavior.

The power of belief is amazing post that people loved. It is literally powerful. To believe in something that is serving us, or will serve us, things that we really want to achieve, is very powerful.

How you can do that?

First of, I found amazing course on udemy.com There is a course on that, can you believe it. People are teaching you how to change your core beliefs, beliefs that doesn’t serve you anymore, and beliefs that you want to change. Here is the course that you may want to attend. It is 1 hour on demand video, and 16 downloadable resources that will help you change your beliefs.

How I would do that?


  1. Make a list of the things in life you want to change or improve
  2. Briefly describe why you think these things doesn’t work for you
  3. Work on changing those beliefs that you can by researching how you can improve that area

You need to be able to see first in your minds eye

We don’t accomplish something that we believe we cannot do, and so, if we don’t see ourselves reaching that goal, we won’t go after that goal in the first place.

Whatever that you wan’t to achieve in your life, see yourself achieving that goal already.

Let?t say you want to be an author, see yourself writing, creating that content. See yourself creating front page of the book, finding publisher, a person that is going to correct the grammar, promote the book, customers buying it, sending you feedback about how you have helped them through your book, see all of that. It is crucial to become an author.

How you can do it?

whatever that you do, all throughout the day, see yourself in it, watch yourself smiling, being satisfied, enjoying life… See yourself thriving.

I”m pretty sure that you opened up this article because You”re not quite happy with your life in some way, and you want to be living to your true potential. Maybe you “re fed up with having the same unfulfilling relationships, or maybe you don’t have the abundance in life that you truly feel you deserve. Perhaps you lack self – worth or confidence, or want to get your health back on track.

Be Confident

The key is, whatever you think you are, you are always more than that and you are able to achieve all that you desire, no matter what obstacles you think are in your way. This is the deeper truth that many have forgotten, and now is the time to not only re.remember this universal truth, but to be it and actualize it fully.

Nothing can stop us but ourselves.

This is about you as an individual. Life is meant to be good for you. Life is really meant to get you what you want, to have all the learning and the most amazing experiences, to have all that financial abundance, to have perfect health in every way and to have the career of your dreams.

There is not such thing as failure until you decide you have failed and you stop going for your dreams.

​By being present in this moment, your world can change; you have everything you need within you and you can achieve the inner peace and love you crave. In fact, there is nothing to search for externally – It”s all within you.

You may have beliefs about yourself, perhaps feeling “not good enough” or “not worthy”. Or you may have been taught the self – restricting beliefs that “money doesn’t grow on trees” or “you”ve got to struggle to get what you want – no pain, no gain”. These mindsets, beliefs and attitudes were imprinted on you when you were a young child and have continued to be part of your mindset all the way through your adult life, and now those beliefs have set a structure in getting those results. Or maybe your beliefs developed after a series of “failures” or disappointments. Either way, that”s all going to change.

Believe in Yourself

Life is good for you if you choose it to be.

You cannot change the past but you know that you are the only person creating the present.

It goes back to cause and effect. It sounds strange, but think about it: if your life isn’t the way that you want it right now – no matter what area of your life it is – it means you”re just an effect of your situation.

You become an effect of everything you are going through, by saying, “Well, it”s not my fault, It”s this persons fault”, or “It”s my boss”s fault”, or “It was the way that teacher bullied me”, or “It was my father”s fault”, or “my mother”s fault. Or even, “It”s my ill health” or “this dis – ease” or “dis – order that has caused me to have bad health”. Unfortunately, those excuses are giving you reason to maintain your mindset and giving you permission to continue with your negative behaviors. If I”m pushing some of your buttons, that”s good. Stay with me.

When we make excuses, we are playing the blame game. We are powerful when we blame people or things for our situation because we believe that they are outside your control. In order to move forward, we must accept that it doesn’t matter who was at fault or to blame. By blaming we are reducing our control over the situation, since to move past it we need the person responsible to correct their mistake.

Take the opportunity right now to take responsibility for your cause and effect.

All your past experiences have led you up to this pinnacle of your life when everything has to change and will change. All of those past residual behaviors are continuing to produce the effects and the results right now, and will continue to produce them in the future if you carry on the same way.

Own your life

This is your reality, no one else”s.

You have a choice to make, and It”s a big one. You can choose now to take responsibility, or you can choose to live the life you”ve already got – being simply an effect of life.

Let life be a product of you.

I”ve taken responsibility for everything I”ve done in the last ten years and what I do now. No matter what is in my life, I take responsibility for it. If someone is behaving badly towards me in a friendship or relationship, I take responsibility for that. I have allowed that person into my life, and I have to choose to keep them in my life or cut them out, whether they are family or friends. It sounds quite harsh, but you”ve got to look after your own interests, your own well being, and the people in your life should be those who only want the best for you. You”ve got to be healthy if you want to be your true potential.

We are made of energy, and we attract those who are similar energy to us.

So you have to take responsibility now. Take responsibility for every aspect of your life and I can guarantee it will be so empowering that it will change your day, every day. You will feel happier and happier with each moment in the knowledge that you can choose to have the life you deserve.

The mind can’t distinguish between what is imagined and what is real.

Your mind is powerful, but it needs to be guided and you are the guide. To achieve the life you desire, inwardly and outwardly, you must hold your desires firmly in your mind. Due to the mind – body connection, your mind causes your body to fall in sync with your desires, too. In other words, your unconscious mind can’t tell the difference between what is imagined and what is real.

Imagine positive outcome

I invite you now to take a full responsibility for your life and stop complaining about your certain situation. Give best of yourself to achieve your goals, no matter what they are.

Thoughts are things?!


Is it really that way? Do we truly attract what we think about and who we are? I know that like attracts like, but do really thoughts and what we think about shapes our reality?

About the how like attracts like… I’ll never forget that day…I’ve been in one relationship that I didn’t enjoy at all. You might think now: “Why you stayed then?!” I don’t know! I guess I’ve seen just the goods in him, and all the bads I tried to forget, not to focus on. Until one day, I had that aha moment, when I realized that we was perfect match. I didn’t love and appreciate myself, and then he came into my life like a perfect manipulator.


Thoughts are not facts!


Of course I left him straight after the realization, but the question is still here: “Do we really attract who we are and what we think about?”

Positive thinking: Find happiness and achieve your goals through the power of positive thought

Just a short story about why you should/must think positive if you wanna live positive life.

Designing your life


Absolutely loved this book, because it shows you how to build and create life of your dreams.

Do you really think that someone else or something else is responsible for your life? Do you blaming others for your current situation? I know, It”s easier to blame others or something than to take full responsibility for your life. Everything that you decided to do up until brought you where are you now. Do you get it? No one didn’t told you what you should do, where, with whom. Your choices and priorities are the one. It”s hard to admit. I know! But honesty with yourself can bring you miracles. Alcoholic asks for help when he truly admits that he has problem. That”s when changes happen.

This book wrote Bill Burnett & Dave Evans and I will give score to their book 4, because I read the book very quickly, was easy to read which is not the case with every. And if It”s hard to read some book you should quit and find another one. That”s my advice to you! If you struggle to read, don’t understand anything, quit.

Book talks about Starting where you are. What they mean by that? Start with what you have. No matter where you are, what you do and what you have, just start where you are. About how to be immune on failure, how to build a team, how to unstuck yourself and how to design your dream job. Everybody today talk about Dream Jobs and Traveling the World. It”s possible, you just have to educate yourself of how to do that.

Three-quarters of all college grads don’t end up working in a career related to their majors.

True happiness comes from designing a life that works for you. You wanna create your life of your own terms, don’t let somebody else to make decisions for you. Get up, go to work, pay the bills, go home, go to bed doesn’t sound like a happy life. Wake up the next day and do it all again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Big NO NO, to this kind of life.

Look around you. Look at your office or home. The chair you are sitting on, the tablet or smartphone you may be holding. Everything that surrounds us was designed by someone. You can too! And every design started with a problem. A problem that you cannot live anymore every day the same.

Chairs were created because someone, somewhere, wanted to solve a big problem: sitting on rocks causes sore bottoms. Do you have any idea how to change your routine, build your own perfect career and do something that you chooses to do, live on your own terms. And run a business that benefits you and your family and friends, because you have more free time for yourself and them. Think of it! What you would love to do? What do you really really love to do? And do it! Just do it!


Before you can do life design, you need to learn to think like a designer. Do you really think that you have control over what is going on in your life, or this is some outside thing and that you cannot do much about that? Of course that your decisions and moves that you made in the past, brought you here and now.

A well-designed life is not a life of drudgery. You weren’t put on this earth to work eight hours a day at a job you hate until the time comes to die. That may sound a bit melodramatic, but many people would tell you that this is a good description of their lives.

I will give you now tools that you can use in order to change your life for better.Don’t be afraid of trying new things. Start with a small things and sage risks. You have to change something in order something to be changed.

  • Be Curious. Curiosity makes everything new. It invites exploration. It makes everything play. Most of all, curiosity is going to help you “get good at feeling lucky”. It”s the reason some people see opportunities everywhere.
  • Try stuff. When you have a bias to action, you are commited to building your way forward. There is no sitting on the bench just thinking about what are you going to do. There is only getting in the game. Designers try things. They test things out.
  • Reframe Problems. Reframing is how designers get unstuck. Reframing also makes sure that we are working on the right problem. Reframing is essential to finding the right problems and the right solutions.
  • Know It”s a process. We know that life gets messy. For every step forward, it can sometimes seem you are moving two steps back. Mistakes will be made, prototypes thrown away. An important part of the process is letting go-of your first idea and of a good-but-not-great solution. And sometimes amazing designs can emerge from the mess. Teflon was created this way. Super glue. Play-Doh. None of these things would exist if a designer somewhere had”t screwed up.
  • Ask for help. The last mindset of design thinking is perhaps the most important, especially when it comes to designing your life: radical collaboration. What this means is simple-you are not alone. The best designers knows that great design requires radical collaboration.


Most people operate under the dysfunctional belief that they just need to find out what they are passionate about. Once they know their passion, everything else will somehow magically fall into place. We hate this idea for one very good reason: most people don’t know their passion. Research shows that, for most people, passion comes after they try something, discover they like it, and develop mastery-not before.

Most people do not have that one thing they are passionate about – that singular motivator that drives all of their life decisions and infuses every waking moment with a sense of purpose and meaning. In truth, most people are passionate about many different things, and the only way to know what they want to do is to prototype some potential lives, try them out, and see what really resonates with them. You don’t need to know your passion in order to design life you love. Once you know how to prototype your way forward, you are on the path to discovering the things you truly love, passion or not.

I will wrap things up here and say that never stop exploring and trying new things, invest in yourself and career. Commit yourself to that!
