How to live healthily

Healthy living is something that you should put a thought into, meaning second guessing everything that you do. For example; you have on the table mix salad and the burger and the fries, ask yourself: “Which one should I really take?” “Which one will I benefit from?” and so on and so on.

Watch this short 20 minute video about our health and what we should avoid or more implement in our every day life. Videos can truly change the way we see things, and our health should be our number one priority.

You are what you eat!

Something like this. You are what you eat or you are what you read, watch, consume…

Live healthily is not expensive how some people think, actually it is for FREE, or at least with the small fee. 😀 Let me explain:

  1. Water is for free in some countries. And fresh, clean water is crucial for health and longevity, it flushes your toxins, helps to boost your energy, your system works in harmony drinking plenty of water, helps your skin, and many more
  2. Oxygen. With no oxygen we would not be alive. We breathe all the time to survive, whether we are consciously of it or not. Many people breathe very shallow, but those that really focus on the breathing can be very calming and soothing for your mind and body.
  3. Foods that are fresh and colorful are like a fuel to your body. And really, if you put in your body low quality fuel, you are going to get low quality body energy, and you might get a disease only by consuming low quality foods, full of sugar and the fats.

Here I am leaving for you mine YT video about hot to live healthy and how health is FREE. Enjoy watching and learning.

The other day I watched another health related video that I loved so much, and as I was watching, I took the notes that I am going to share with you. Here they are:

1. Change the foods you eat – eat smarter, high quality foods

2. Movement and exercise – life is movement and so does your body. Move your body as much as you can.

3. Sleep – Sleep maximum 8 hours a day and in the afternoon take 20 minute power nap.

4. Meditation – Schedule some time to relax.

5. Ask right questions – Ask yourself questions like: “How to have more energy?”

6. Only healthy oils like olive oil – No vegetable oil. Coconut and avocado oils are fine.

7. Reduce stress – Breathe consciously and slow down.

8. Fatty fish, grass fed beef, eggs

9. Know thyself, self asses

10. Take 100% responsibility for your life

What do you do for your health and well being on a daily, weekly, monthly basis? Because it is not about doing only 3 things, it is about doing it all but in a balanced kind of way.

Things that make you feel safe and secure

Nothing on this planet is as safe and secure anymore. Look what happened to 2020, with Covid and stuff?! Thinking that you are now safe and settled is such a great illusion. People come together and they divorce, start their own businesses and then they fail. Long lasting relationship is not that lasting anymore. That is the hard truth, but it is truth.

I used to think, leaving my parents house, and going in another country, starting fresh, I will feel safe and secure. What an illusion! We are living in great uncertainty now, and actually that is what life makes fun and unpredictable, right?

It is topic that not many people talk about, but is crucial to live happy and stress free life.

We all have the right to feel safe all the time.

Do you feel safe when you are alone, all by yourself? Many people can’t. Why? Because they are afraid of what they might hear from their own self. They might hear things like: “Look what you’ve done?!” “How crappy your life is!” “You look terrible, nobody likes you!” these are just few of the destructive self talk people have when they are alone with themselves and that is excruciating.

I loved video by the Julia Kristina about what secure people don’t do, and I resonated with every part. Please, watch it here:

We covered so far things that doesn’t feel us safe and secure, but what about things that do make us feel safe and secure.

Here are couple of points: (please add some yours in a comment section below)

  • Believing in God, Universe, Higher power
  • Believing in themselves and their better future
  • Confidence in self
  • Ability to handle everything that comes their way

Whatever that you are feeling now, know that is all right, and is fine. A great question that you can ask yourself is: “Will it matter in a 5 years time?” I assure you, in most cases, it will not matter in a 5 years time, no matter what are you going through. So forget it, and move on with your life as best of your ability.

Don’t worry, be happy

It may sound cliche, but hear me out. It is so much easier to worry and to imagine all the worrisome situations than to find what makes us really happy. And I don’t mean it literally, because figuring out what makes us really happy, takes a little bit of soul searching, it takes a little bit of time and patience.

Do what you love and love what you do.

What are the things that make you feel safe and secure? And why you don’t feel safe and secure in the first place? Leave a comment in a section below, and let’s help one another with interacting.

How writing can boost your creativity, productivity and vision

Writing is something beautiful. We are all here because we like to write and read. If you can read this text, then you can write also. And I agree, those that read a lot, they can be as much good as in writing, it just broadens your perspective.

Writing isn’t only books, lectures, plans and programs for school, but it can be literally everything. Have you heard about saying: “With a good plan you are half way there.” And I agree to that, totally and utterly. Why? Because writing a plan, putting thoughts on your paper helps you see what direction you should be headed.

Benefits of writing:

  • Better communication
  • Creativity
  • Relieves mental stress
  • Improves perspective
  • Accomplishment
  • Sharpens memory
  • Makes you a better writer
  • Improves health
  • Improves self-expression
  • Helps in deep and critical thinking

This it the list of 10 benefits that I found HERE (through this link) and I totally agreed in what they said about writing. I live all those benefits and still reap from them.

This is how you can keep your journal organized:

Ma Journal
My Journal

On the picture you see that the paragraphs and different things that I was writing about different colors. That is how you separate visually one thing from another.

Here are also few pin points about what should you be doing in your journal:

  • Always put  date and time beside the title
  • Use different color pen for writing different things
  • Write just about anythings and everything
  • Use one journal for all the stuff; to-do lists, upcoming events etc….
  • Write quotes that you heard that day in a bigger paragraph so you can easily see and remind yourself afterwards

I think that is it?!

What are some of your ideas and suggestions for journal like this? Which one of the ideas you liked the most?

If you are serious about journaling, read my Blog post also about The Beauty Of Writing

And hey, I can’t forget my Youtube video about taking notes this I filmed year ago. It might be of better and bigger help for you. Here it is:

Putting your thoughts on paper, planning your projects, regularly writing down your goals in life can get you more done, it is like self-discovery. You are going to discover about yourself so much more. And after some years you can go back to that journal and see what was you were thinking that year, you can track your progress.

I wish you all the best in journaling. I hope this post helped you to start something new and to be more creative, productive and have full vision for yourself and your life.

How to have fun life

Fun life isn’t all about going out, hanging out with your friends, playing games and dancing, but about doing the things that makes us feel alive, content, and doing the things that bring us joy.

It doesn’t have to be laughter all the time, but the mix of two; content and joy.

What makes you feel content and joyful? Take a sheet of paper and make a list, not for me, but for yourself. It is going to be life transformative for you, if you’ve never done that before.

What makes you tick?

I will help you a bit and tell you a few of mine, just to remind you:

  • lay down in my bed after doing some heavy physical work
  • lay down in my bed at night to sleep after all the things that I have accomplished that day
  • food makes me joyful; preparing, sharing with my family and friends, taking photos, sharing with others
  • yoga
  • dancing
  • gardening
  • planing my future
  • reading a book
  • cuddles

These are just a few of mine. You make your list. Really, it can be anything. Once you finish your list, go through the list, remember it, and make sure to do them often. That is the key to fun life that you want to live. A life full of contentment and joy.

Love what you do, and do what you love.

It is very important to define yourself a meaning of fun in life, and what it means for you to lead a fun life.

Having a fun in life can be just to watch squirells every weekend or to have a cocktail party with your friends and colleagues.

Do something different every now and then.

Life is risky. It’s so risky, in fact, that none of us are going to get out of it alive. This sentence wrote Tony Robbins in the book: Life Force.

So live! Live with full lungs, like there is no tomorrow. Smile, laugh, hug and kiss, be childish. Live a life of no regrets.

Now your turn, to say, what are some of your thought on this? What is it that you are going to do differently? And how you are going to implement fun in your daily life?

What is present moment and how to practice it

Present moment is all that you have. Everything begins and ends at the moment, not tomorrow, nor yesterday, but in the present moment.

It is very important what you are going to do in the present moment. Present moment will determine your future. Everything that you do today, will set you up for tomorrow.

Whatever that you want to accomplish tomorrow, in a week time, or a year, you must start today, and in the present moment. That can be researching, planning, finding the right partners, whatever.

Years ago I heard someone saying: “When you are in a rush, you stop creating.”

It shook me, because I was always in a rush. Always trying to get somewhere on a time, trying to accomplish as much as I can for that day, always in great stress, not being able to really see and feel the moment, appreciate for what I already have.

Present moment
Present moment

So the solution, if you want to practice being in the present moment, is to slow down, just do everything at the slow pace. Really, nothing easier than that.

Were you ever in a rush, driving your car 100 miles per hour, trying to reach the destination, not even remembering the journey? I am sure you did that at least once. This is not being in the present moment.

Being in present moment is taking time to drive, setting an intention for your destination, enjoying listening the radio, actually seeing the landscape while driving, remembering all the town and villages that you driven through.

This is being in the present moment, and actually enjoying it.

“So slow down.” Maja Marinic

I found for you an amazing video about 8 ways how to practice being in present moment. It is here:

Best practice for me is certainly feeling your movement. Feeling your feet touching the ground, feeling your legs walk you from point A to point B, feeling water on your hands, feeling toothbrush brushing your teeth, etc.

If you practice being in present moment, it can increase your joy and happiness. Why? Because there will be no room for the anxiety of the future or guilt of the past, you will simply exist and BE. We are not human doings after all, but BEings.

My video version about present moment; it might be of better help for you, and to understand more;

So how are you going to practice being in present moment, and why are you going to do that anyway?

It is very important to know why. Why is important to you, and why you want to practice it, what are you trying to accomplish?

Here are again ways how to do that:

  1. Breathe consciously
  2. Slow down
  3. Feel your feet touching the ground
  4. Feel your body sensations
  5. Meditate

Present moment is all that we have because past we only hold in our memories, good or bad, and future is yet to come, if at all. Sorry to say that, but it’s true. We don’t know what future holds!

So to practice being in present moment, being aware of what we are doing, how we are doing it, and the how, we can create our own reality.

Everything is happening in the now, past, present and the future, that is exactly why it is very powerful.
